The Whitefish Lake Golf Club sets the bar when it comes to offerings for junior golf and it continues to get even better. This year we will be offering 2 programs which are aimed at junior golfers of all abilities. We offer an introductory program for kids of all ages geared towards sparking interest in our sport, a Junior Academy for those that want to take it to the next level and a Junior League for those that want to compete as a team against other Valley courses. Below is a description of all three to help you find the appropriate program for your future golfer.
This program is offered in 3 age groups, 7-9, 10-13 and High School.
The Junior Academy uses the Operation 36 framework to structure the program. It consists of coaching, playing and training programs and is designed to teach golfers play the game from a hole out perspective. Each golfer will be issued a profile in the Operation 36 mobile app to track progress through a 6 level curriculum that is designed to set appropriate objectives and challenge each student towards shooting par or better (score of 36) for 9 holes.
The Academy is structured with weekly group classes where coaches progress students through the 6 level curriculum. To test the student’s skills Operation 36 matches will challenge golfers to shoot the score of 36 for 9 holes from 6 different yardage divisions on the course.

Our junior golf program has been postponed until later in the summer. Due to the limit on gatherings and health concerns we will be rescheduling and reformatting these classes.
We will be posting these dates in the near future. Thank you for your understanding as we wish to provide the safest atmosphere for this great program.
Feel free to register your child so we can get a headcount and plan appopriately.
Thank you again.
