Since 1977, the WLGC Junior Program has offered free summer lessons to kids ages 5 to 17. With the continued support of the Golf Club and community, Whitefish has become the top junior golf program in the State of Montana.
Whitefish Girls Golf Team | 18 State Titles The WHS girls golf team have earned an amazing 18 State Championships. With their latest title coming in 2007, they added to a count that includes a streak of seven straight in the 1990's. With a consistency rarely found in High School sports, the WHS Girls Golf team is sure to be a force in the State of Montana for years to come.
Whitefish Boys Golf Team | Wins 11th State Title by 30 The WHS boys golf team came home from Polson with another state championship trophy for 2008. The boys have won four of the last five team championships, and this makes a total of 11 banners on the wall.
Terry Nelson | A Whitefish Golf Legend Whitefish golf coach Terry Nelson has 19 state championships in 23 years and was recently awarded the national coach of the year award for the second straight year.
